Logging

Below is a photo from Harper's Weekly ©1893 of a logging sled. In fact, it was the largest load at that time hauled in Minnesota. This photo reminded me of a picture from my family history of them logging in the winter in New England.

  1. I find it amazing that it only took four horses to haul that load, and they aren't even draft horses.
